Demystifying the
franchise opportunity Ruth Garcia, Owner,
RG2 Consulting,
LLC
What comes to your mind when you hear the word franchising - fast food, national chains, McDonalds, Taco Bell, high level of investment? While fast food is certainly a large sector within franchising, there are now over 3,000 franchised concepts in over 35 industries. In her presentation, franchise consultant Ruth Garcia will de-myth the perception of franchising and showcase some of the fastest growing franchise industries, including senior in-home care, child care and repair & maintenance. In addition, Ruth Garcia will elaborate on the advantages and disadvantages of franchising and on the different business models available to potential franchise owners. Franchising has become an attractive alternative for professionals who would like to break away from the corporate environment but still need to generate a sizable income within a short period of time.
